This gentleman wanted a reduction in gynecomastia breast size with the least scarring possible. Here we remove the gland and rely on skin retraction alone, avoiding the chest horizontal scar. The downside is residual skin laxity which manifests as excess fullness in the lower part of the chest. Still, the improvement with acceptable scarring results in a much more comfortable appearance for patients who elect this approach.
